Mahmoudia Motors, the official and exclusive dealer of Jaguar and Land Rover in Jordan, recently organised a Ramadan iftar for 200 orphans, in collaboration with the Zaydoon Initiative and the Saemaul Undong Movement. Hosted at The Children’s Museum, the iftar entailed a range of entertainment and educational activities that saw the participation of Mahmoudia Motors’ staff alongside the children.
Abdimajid Haither, General Manager at Mahmoudia Motors, stated, “Since the inception of our company, corporate social responsibility has always been one of our core initiatives that is integrated at the very heart of our operations and reflected in each of our staff.” He continued, “At Mahmoudia Motors, we pride ourselves in giving back to the communities in which we operate, as we strive to ease the burden of children and those who are truly in need.”
On his behalf, Dr. Anas Talhouni, a representative and coordinator of the Saemaul Undong Movement in Jordan, expressed his gratitude to all the organising participants of the iftar. He commended the participants, whose efforts resonated tremendously across the norther and central valleys, two areas that suffer from high poverty rates.
